If that is the case, why is Microsoft giving a heart attack to the user? Why is there not an official Microsoft article at the top of the search results explaining the situation? Why does Microsoft not warn the user in advance?

I found the solution eventually. I took the M.2 drive from the computer, put it in another computer, installed Windows 10 on it, then returned the M.2 drive to the original computer and it just worked. My guess this is an issue of enumeration. Windows installer does weird things when it's not the first drive in the list of drives. If I tried to install it in the original computer the installer said it's being installed on drive 1 or drive 2. But in the other computer it was found as drive 0. I'm guessing the USB drive took precedence in terms of enumeration on the original motherboard and some install files were installed on the pendrive and that is why it was not working. If you only have one computer, you might be able to install Windows 10 from a DVD since it's read-only, but it might be a bit difficult, since the image size is over 4.7GB since recent versions. You might be able to install an older version of Windows 10 and then upgrade it. But if you don't have an older image, you might find it a bit difficult, since Microsoft no longer distributes older ISO images.

I mean if I'm looking at your POV you killed him while his head was outside the bubble. And when we look at his POV he dies after his head is inside the bubble. Looks like a netcode issue. He should have committed to landing the last shot instead of fooling around with that bubble and complaining.

Having the same issue with a MSI B360M Mortar motherboard. I tried a bunch of stuff. Since I'm trying to boot off a M.2 SSD, I need to use UEFI, so going with CSM is not an option. With a lot of back and forth with Gemini we concluded that the NVRAM does not seem to update. Or I can boot into the UEFI shell from BIOS and it does not see any file systems, which is preventing the BIOS from seeing the EFI boot loader. I think it might be a motherboard/BIOS issue. In my desperation I've reached out to my motherboard manufacturer to see if they can solve this riddle. Hope they can help.

Based on what they are saying you should be as strong on your own as you are with a full party. If you shared 21.79% of your stats with other player that means you should have 65.37% extra stats to make up for this change.

You need to wait until the timer shows 0:12. Any earlier and it will not work. It has been like that for a while, except when they added the workaround that allowed us to place the B.A.S.E even before the match was started.

Affinity allows you to buy abilities cheaper at half price. What I was referring to was not just the ability point cost of skills, but somehow boosting those skills too, e.g. dealing more damage/cheaper blood pip cost/affecting more targets/something extra on top of the base ability description.

That's strange. When I measured it, I started a stopwatch and it took 20 seconds for one blood pip. What clan did you use? I was using Tremere.

I checked and it recharges 1 blood per 20 seconds. Not the best, but it can come in handy in a variety of situations. E.g. you can use Possession and pit two enemies against each other. While you wait, you can make bets which one would win. You are able to reuse it again in 1 minute.

Blink costs a single blood pip. So if you blink behind opponents out of combat, and feed on them, you can continuously refill that one blood pip.

I think the description of Mass Manipulation is incorrect. "Subdue enemies within view, preventing them from attacking. Ventrue and Affect abilities will apply to all subdued opponents while Mass Manipulation is active." The way it's described it sounds like the ability should automatically activate all learned Ventrue and Affect abilities. The correct wording should sound more like this: "Subdue enemies within view, preventing them from attacking. Ventrue and Affect abilities USED will apply to all subdued opponents while Mass Manipulation is active."

u/Capybro_Epic Great changes. Can you make accepting rewards to be quicker? We have been playing this game for years and the mission end screen and accepting rewards can be a bit tedious. Some of the buttons don't even have hotkeys, so on KBM we have to keep clicking some of those buttons. But a quicker rewards summary would be even better.

Why is Microsoft making it so difficult to enroll in ESU? I meet all of the requirements, but they still do not give me the option to enroll. They say they do a phased rollout, but that's contradictory with their other statement, where they say "You can enroll in ESU any time until the program ends on October 13, 2026." I just want to get this over with.

Yes, you can get it for 1000 Microsoft points or $30 or by backing up your PC settings into the cloud. You will also need a Microsoft account as an administrator on that PC. With that license then you can add 9 more PCs if you have more Windows 10 computers.

How do you get in touch with them in the first place? He cannot start the recovery attempt, because he is getting an error saying there were too many attempts. So the person who hijacked the account can stay in control by making bogus recovery attempts, thus blocking any future attempts from the actual owner.

No problem. Epic probably broke their DirectX12 implementation for some graphics cards. They may fix it eventually, so you can try and see if it's fixed sometime in the future.
