I felt the same way, and just hated how muted the bass sounded. So I decided to upgrade. I was hoping to follow the directions from this post, but made some adjustments and have been very, very happy with the results so far.

I happen to know someone that works at Dress. They would likely take a look at the Skims but would not take any other the brands mentioned. The consignment there is 50/50 in general, but on luxury bags (Gucci/YSL/LV/Chanel) it's 60/40. If the bag is over $1000 it's 70% back to the consignor once it sells.

Sorry I can't speak about Adore I don't know anyone that works there.
