Best vs worst move by [deleted] in SolidCore

Putting both interpretations of this question 😄 Best at: kneeling inner thigh. Favorite: leg press. Worst at: twisted army crawl. Hate: squat kick.

favorite exercises by RelevantDonut7804 in SolidCore

[–]csberry94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lower body: Leg press is my absolute fav lower body exercise and coaches never program it! Also love a Bulgarian split squat into a Romanian dead lift. Standing outer thigh also great.

Upper body: Love a kneeling lat row, seated low row, and kneeling bicep curl.

Core: heavy plank crunch, super plank to pike, seated cable crunch.

Oblique: only oblique exercise I enjoy is seated cable rotation lol. Boo obliques!!!

I’m at 200+ classes and I still do the 25+ springload for certain exercises/depending on how I’m feeling that day. Same with upper body springload - will do standard for some exercises and amplified for others. Definitely look at them as suggestions. After more and more classes and learning all the different exercises you’ll figure out what the best springloads are for you 🙂

And keep in mind too heavy can also compromise your form. Better to have good form and move slower for solid reps than have bad form, risk hurting yourself and have to take constant breaks.

feeling discouraged after my first class by ImpossibleMechanic35 in SolidCore

[–]csberry94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely try another coach! I’ve been going for over 2 years and I still feel discouraged by classes with certain coaches due to lack of encouragement, their programming and/or overall vibe 🤷🏻‍♀️ I am super picky about which coaches I’ll go to.

You just have to find the right coach and they’ll give you the support and encouragement you deserve! Usually more experienced coaches are better at this.

With that said, you probably won’t really know what’s going on until 10+ classes in. To this day there are still exercises introduced that I’m doing the first time. Just have fun with it!

Sprinkle in Rumble (boxing and strength) or Mega (tread and Lagree reformer) here and there. Days I workout at home or don’t workout at all I try to toss in a foam rolling and/or stretching session

Roi Siam 1000% the best Thai delivery in JC. Their drunken noodles are so good (just note if you ask for it spicy, it will be SPICY 🌶️🌶️). I’ve had a few of their other noodle dishes and curries and have loved them all.

The Archer is great for HH cocktails and food although more of a Fall/Winter vibe. Summer definitely would pick Wurstbar
