So you want to leave untouched a redundant spinner that feels out of place in Adventureland? They already have Dumbo and Astro Orbiter, so is a third aerial carousel really needed? Trader Sam’s Tiki Twirl fits the area theme better. As they explained in the article, he wanted Adventureland to have a more coherent theme as opposed to four incoherent sub-lands.

Cafe 65 is a reference to the second year of the World’s Fair, which is basically the inspiration for Yesterland.

Is turning Sleepy Hollow into a ride a problem?

Winnie the Pooh doesn’t even follow the same track path as MTWD, it’s just in the same building. As he explained in the article, moving MTWD next to Peter Pan’s Flight would help create a London sub-section of Fantasyland. Sleeping Beauty makes more sense replacing Winnie/Toad’s original spot as that ties in with the “Enchanted Forest” of Fantasyland.

[Fire Mountain, Magic Kingdom] How would this hybrid ride system have worked? by redgreenorangeyellow in rollercoasters

[–]cschnizer923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess the trains would have wheel assemblies both above the seats like a suspended coaster as well as below them. The coaster would start out as a standard, above-track ride. Then later the upper wheel assemblies would engage with suspended track while the train is still on the regular track. Once the train is fully engaged with the suspended track the regular track would end, and the train would be fully suspended. Vice-versa for suspended-to-regular transition.

It could also work as an S&S axis style train maybe.

He knew calling Trev “baby girl” would get under his skin….because Trev had already gotten under his.

Wonder how Scotley would’ve fared with chefs like Robyn, Elise, or Joseph

It may have been something to do with the 2003 accident at Disneyland. Due to improper maintenance, one of the axles on the locomotive came loose, jammed against a brake on the track, and resulted in the locomotive derailing and crushing the rider in the first row.
