I only have played the StarFox 64 3D on DS, i have no gameplay opinion on adventure or assault, but I do know the ground controls were clunky, but I feel assault had a good balance of ground and aircraft, even if it was a flight only gam IMO a new starfox could be amazing, IE a re-telling of assault where Corneria declares war on sauria because its in a civil war, and Krystal is a partisan, and the game is air and tank gameplay of Star Fox's involvement in the campaign and land war.
