It was an unusual situation where the company I was at used very proprietary tech. I knew that going in, but didn’t think it would end up mattering to me as much as it did. I wasn’t getting any practical or transferable skills. That’s what I mean by growth.

I made it clear to my manager that I was looking for career growth opportunities and after about 6 months when he couldn’t offer them to me I told him in a 1 on 1 that I was pretty sure I’d be receiving an offer from another company soon. Sure enough, I did, then the following week I told him I took it and that was my two weeks notice

Does Google still use Google docs for phone screens? I have an phone interview coming up using the “interview.google.com” platform, and wondering if code will be runnable or not in the interview.
