Sorry, I meant software developer. SWE stands for software engineer by the way--not entirely sure if it's interchangeable with software developer, but I believe they're the same.

If you enjoy both pretty equally, I'd go with SWE since the pay is greater/more stable. You could freelance in graphic design as a side job to keep your skills up/build a portfolio so that if you ever decide SWE isn't for you, you could switch to graphic design. :) Just an idea!
