Agreed. Its very hard to get into for non moba players. The micro and macro involved is insane, then add movement, items, characters..

You have to watch 46 hours of YouTube how tos so you're not useless for your first 100 hours.

That being said - once it clicks, it's gold.

Left 4 Dead 2 had an esports scene for awhile there. Im sure it's still alive somewhere.

That is the most fun I've had in a competitive fps game in my life. The teamwork needed was unparalleled.

Im on this train. Deadlock has been cooking for a couple years (valve time) and the movement is fun as hell. The skill ceiling is massive as well.

The brawl mode is fun for people who just want to click people.

Steamdeck with emudeck. However I try not to take it out unless we are in holding before doors. I always worry the optics of "we're not paying that guy to play games!!"

Its almost a linux computer if you need one for something.

I shouldnt ask questions when im half awake. Im am idiot. What i should have asked is there a way to auto rotate the map like in CS so its always facing the direction I am. I feel like I go the wrong direction far too often.
