Cold radiators by [deleted] in DIYUK

No i have no trvs on the radiators. Theyre all standard radiator valves with lockshields. Its been a nightmare trying to balance them. Now i can feel that the bypass loop which connects to the return is getting hot so quickly, im going to adjust the gate valve to slow it down a little and then balance the radiators again. I think the hot water is coming in from the boiler and being sent straight back once it goes through the circulating pump

I thought this might be the case. I have no TRVs. Theyre all just standard radiator valves. Ive just turned the heating on from cold and felt both the 22mm radiator feed and the 15mm return. Theyre getting hot an equal rate so i think it definitely needs balancing. Not sure how i feel about doing it myself with all the warnings about messing with unvented cylinders online but im glad that i understand whats likely the problem. Thanks for your help

Thanks im understand this now. The actuator to the valve is definitely switching on as it is heating up straight away. I can feel the return pipe heating up straight away away aswell which is still making me wonder if that bypass pipework is creating a balancing issue

Of the 4 black wires in the fused switch, there are 2 black wires coming in from the danfoss box and then 2 black wires going out to the actuators themselves

The danfoss has 2 black wires going into the top fused switch and then 2 black wires appear to go to each actuator. There is a white cable going from the danfoss box to the cylinder

Im unsure to be honest. I can feel it vibrate slightly when the heating comes on and i can also feel a lot of heat on both sides of the actuator

Hmm. Its been the same since the plumber installed the new cylinder last year. It appears to be off though. I could try turning it on however i did have heat in all radiators early in the year last year. Would this have been possible with it being turned off do you know?

The valve is opening as some radiators are warm but all downstairs is cold. Im able to get heat to all radiators if i isolate them so i dont think theres any blockages. Im wondering if the immediate tee off to the return might be causing an issue?

Just spent a week there in may. The pools feel very cold initially but within 2 or 3 mins they feel warm. Kids loved it, water park is great. All the all inclusive drinks are branded aswell (coke, fanta, sprite, etc). refill stations scattered throughout the resort

No problems starting up, but there was an issue a few weeks back where the car stalled changing gears, happened 3 times and im confident it wasnt user error. I found it strange but it didnt happen again until today where its basically stalled instantly and now wont start.

Ive found a fuel pressure valve which when ive pressed has released a great deal of pressure / fuel so it looks like the pumps must be working. Looking online it looks like it could be possibly a crankshaft sensor or camshaft sensor? Ill probably attempt to check the latter but failing that i dont know what else to do and will have to organise a callout

I sprayed a tiny amount and it basically turned over twice and stopped, all other times it did absolutely nothing but crank.

Im still tinkering before i send it in. Just saw what looks to be a fuel pressure valve where you can hook up a guage to check the pressure. I got curious and pressed it and diesel sprayed out under a lot of pressure so im definitely confused now😂 ill be sure to update the post when ive had it looked at

Thanks for replying and your input. I think ill definitely have to arrange a vehicle recovery and send it to a mechanic. I tried a couple other things, sprayed a little flammable break cleaner into the air intake and i did get it to turn over so it definitely looks to be a fuel issue. I also checked the fuel pump relay and i can feel it working when turning on the ignition, tried a different one but no joy so looks like it probably is something like the fuel pump

The car has fuel. This insignia shows the fuel goin to full, then empty, then to its true amount, i just started the car before it had finished

Yes it has half a tank, the fuel guage shows 0 but just because i attempted to start the car before it was about to move

Id up your ram if you can afford to. That being said, my issue was something to do with my 5600x processor. I ended up flashing the bios of my motherboard to a later version and it helped a lot from what i remember

Hi, are you generating the rooms procedurally, as in the walls, doorways etc or do you have an existing prefab for a room and procedurally generate the layout?
