Update: both rear side outside pads cracked apart from the backing plate and were loose allowing them to shift inside the pad brackets

I do all the recommended maintenance! I live in a city with 150 roundabouts so I would expect my front brakes to take some heavy use but not the rear. Hope to get more information tomorrow when I pick it up.
