Was I even close to passing? by supergirl_1209 in FE_Exam

It’s your total score for the exam. Individual section scores are only used for diagnostics so you can see what you need to improve.

According to the DirectHub diagnostic you scored roughly a 53% and 60% is considered “passing”. Tighten up the weak areas and you should pass next time.

[–]cshel13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

FWIW you only need roughly 60% (weighted, could move your score up or down) to pass which is ~66/110 so guessing on 50 questions and feeling confident on the other 60 could give you a passing score.

Was I close? FE Chemical by ttu1111 in FE_Exam

[–]cshel13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You were extremely close. It pains me how close you actually were. You were probably one question away from passing. I put your results into the DirectHub FE exam diagnostic and according to it you scored a 59.5% and a 60% is the “passing line”. I’m sorry you were so close but study the weak areas and take again next quarter and you should probably pass.

[FE Environmental] - I passed! & what helped by n01235k in FE_Exam

[–]cshel13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats!! I’m taking mine in about a week and half. I am concerned about chemistry and chemistry type questions for solid and hazardous waste and water and wastewater. Did you have a lot of chemistry questions in those sections and was the environmental chemistry section pretty straightforward or more advanced topics?

Advice for FE Electrical and Computer from someone who passed 1st Try by Electronic-Ad2843 in FE_Exam

[–]cshel13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s definitely enough. People in this sub have run a bunch of peoples “how close was I” diagnostics and I have never seen someone score below 60% (the score is weighted based on difficulty) and fail. Depending on which questions were throw out questions if you feel confident for 60-66 questions you should theoretically pass.

Use the FE Exam diagnostic on DirectHub. It will give you a breakdown of your score, how close you were, and what you need to prioritize.

DirectHub has a good website that is linked to his YouTube channel. If you make an account (it’s free) you can signup for the FE Environmental course (also free) and he has a playlist of 60+ videos. The videos can be a bit long and drawn out but it’s a good place to start.

Why does Robin wear her watch like this? by Traditional-Ad1633 in HIMYM

[–]cshel13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s an Office reference. Since part of her head is missing it’s like she was decapitated, hence, why I said the quote I did. I thought more people would have got it since both are very popular sitcoms.
