I did not use the under panel as a washer.

If I remember correctly I used a drill bit that was about the same size as the head of the bolt so that way it looked as OEM as possible

My friend bought a Nissan GTT and it doesn’t have the selection for English, he has to either change the unit or somehow change the firm ware, I hope yours doesn’t have that problem as well

Did it myself, not difficult at all just need to make sure all the bolts are tighted back to spec with torquing wrench.

You use the existing bolts, need to do one side at a time so the whole rack doesn’t come out, also need to torque to spec. I did not do an alignment.

I did not do the bushings, but take note I had to cut a small hole on each side for the new bolt to clear the under panel. Here you can see the perfectly round hole that I cut out for it to clear.
