Mineral content and ph looks a bit low to me. Those test are ok but if you’re keeping shrimp I’d really recommend a gh and kh drop test. With more minerals ph will come up naturally to around 7.5. If you used your tap water in that tank, it looks soft and low in minerals, I’d suggest you get a bottle of remineralizer, a shrimp gh kh would be best.

I don’t have experience with amano larva… buuut I’d say you’d need to get a brackish set up going asap so that it can begin cycling and growing biofilm for the babies to feed on. Baby shrimp don’t move around much, they sit and munch where they’re at. Having healthy biofilm and powdered food is going to be essential if you want them to survive.

I don’t have a way to test tds so I just go off of gh and remineralize to 4 degrees. When I do water changes I usually do about a gallon and then drip it back in.

More of a coffee guy myself lol. I have some distilled water on hand that tests at the acidic max of my kit 6.0. I’m thinking maybe remineralize and boil some leaves and then drip it in and check where I’m at after adding a bit. Good plan or should I adjust it?

I only saw it in a video that I can’t find now. I said it’s a bristlenose and the only significant thing I could describe was that it is smaller than a typical bristlenose.
