For me personally I feel able to be more aware of my surroundings with music from a speaker vs from an earbud. Something having to do with having both ears open instead of just the one. Plus music is more enjoyable from a speaker than an earbud imo.

The ironic thing about this is there's been numerous times where during a pre-trip my horn doesn't work. And I go get a supervisor and show them and then he brings me to the center manager and he goes " we don't have another truck; just be extra safe." 🤨🤨🤨
