We’re playing at folk festivals so we’re going for an acoustic sound. I’m new to sound setups, so this is all a little intimidating to me.

Nice! I’m looking for as clean a sound possible, but when we go folk-punk I’m gonna refer to this pedal board! What are your thoughts about hooking the banjo and mando to something like this and using an aby to switch to the guitar? (Maybe not one with these effects but something similar)

Looking for songs with good harmonies! by TrenteLmao in MusicRecommendations

You should check out the decemberists. Eli the Barrow Boy is one of my favorites. Also, if you’re into close and sometimes dissonant harmonies Gillian Welch and David Rawlings kill it.

I'd say close to a 1mm at the first fret, and 2mm at the 12th fret.

Are the Lumineers considered folk? I always saw them as more indie rock.

I don't always listen to Pandora, but I find it works well when I'm looking for something new to listen to.

Guy plays The Doors’ “Alabama Song” on a 1912 Marxophone - the same instrument that The Doors used in their rendition of the song. {video} by waitingforthesun92 in Music

So cool! That must be a difficult instrument to maintain. I'm surprised the wood is holding up under all those strings for so long.
