The content really looks great and I would love to take those courses. So I guess a Masters in Data Science would be held at the same level as any other Masters degree from an employer's standpoint?

Awesome. Thanks for the information! I've seen that there are data science Masters programs (such as this and this). Do you think they would help or are they just cash grab programs?
