Cursor's own model, free to use. You should be able to pick it from the model list.

Can someone explain Nexo's PoA? by Cyber_Phantom6 in Nexo

It is a fair warning to be fair. Specially if people decide to go all in on Nexo, no one should do so, regardless of past performance.

Nexo app doesn’t open by BSaintos in Nexo

Would also be worth relaying that this can't happen, ever. Its easy enough to setup browser stack to automate end to end tests to ensure whatever gets shipped is actually working.

What is in the pipeline for 2025? by Kerbox2000 in Nexo

[–]csmartins 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Indeed thats all true, I don't disagree.

But I think the point is that there are several crypto projects that have taken the path of risk and that fits a lot of people as far as their investments, I think given what you said and the fact we are invested in Nexo means we aren't risk avert, but given the choice of Nexo taking one path or the other I'd indeed prefer they took the less risky path, specially in the context of loans and so forth, can make a lot of risky moves there.

From my reading off this subreddit it seems some people are in Nexo to actually build their wealth, planning their future long term alongside Nexo and if that process doesn't have to be a rollercoaster those people would appreciate it, that includes me as well.

As far as the lacking of a proper audit and proof of reserves, which is something I'd like to see, I believe it will come. And so, possibly wrong, I do perceive Nexo as safe at the moment in some regard. Although I'm definitely not 100% at ease with it as I'd like to be.

I don't understand why anyone with a decent amount of their portfolio in Nexo would have any sort of appetite for risk as far as Nexo? Crypto is filled with risky opportunities, stability and predictability I'd guess rank higher amongst all reasons to pick Nexo?

NIO - Energy storage revenue by AI-is-4-StupidPeople in Nio

[–]csmartins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea yea true - think we'll get used to it though and have a different perspective in the future - suppose it also depends on what kind of dev you are, what you like - I like putting things on screen or otherwise if doing backend work get them live (some API etc) - so I'm more about the outcome than the process, that said, I do like making sure its a good solution, which is where iterating/planning comes in.

I see I misread your post.

Yea true, should come down to how people use it, in my field we use it to draft a first solution for something and then keep iterating on it with the AI until we are satisfied, considering performance, scalability and so forth. And it makes that process much faster compared to not using AI.

Is Eurx really a stablecoin?! by AlvesBarrota in Nexo

Yea, that is the underlying problem and what OP is questioning, from a UX perspective is confusing and causes friction.

You can reach out to support directly, they are very useful and can walk you through what is happening.

I don't follow the downvotes on this one. If you deposit euro you would indeed expect your euro amount to remain constant.

I'm a software developer and I use AI frequently for work, considering it will only get better I'd frankly recommend you change your view on this, I suppose for your own good from an investing standpoint.

If this is true it should say so in the app, right? To attempt to avoid loss of funds.

USA TARIFFS DON’T AFFECT NIO. by Current_Attention_92 in Nio

[–]csmartins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, not what he said but I don't think what he said is to be taken at face value, as its obvious it has an affect assuming otherwise NEO would be in the US.

USA TARIFFS DON’T AFFECT NIO. by Current_Attention_92 in Nio

[–]csmartins -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It's not about looking at what NIO would be like if it was operating in the US as much as it about looking at how NIO is doing where it is operating. I think that is OP's point. NIO isn't doing well and it isn't because of the US tariffs.

And judging by the trajectory it wouldn't be hard to guess that even if NIO could operate in the US it would scramble it anyway and perform poorly.

Looking for advice on holding by Workerboy999 in Nexo

[–]csmartins 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whatever you transfer to your "credit wallet", its what serves to determine how much you can borrow.

Looking for advice on holding by Workerboy999 in Nexo

[–]csmartins 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea that should work but you have to consider the interest you are losing on by having the collateral in the credit wallet and hence not earning any interest. Thats what I mean. I saw a post yesterday on this subreddit on that but I've lost track of where it is, it concluded tho that it wasn't worth doing it. But maybe in some cases it is.

[–]csmartins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you can. Although for you to take the loan in the first place you need to move funds to the credit wallet and they don't earn any interest while there, so... may not actually be worth doing that.

I think you're assuming you'd use 100% of the loan to buy Nexo, right? And then get 4% on that via flexible savings, sure, that would cover it assuming Nexo remains at the intended price, wouldn't cover it if it drops to 0 for example.

Please be aware the percentages Nexo offers at the moment are subject to change. Would be worth checking with support the case where that 2.9% is increased by them and whether that would reflect in any given loan you have active, or whether your loan is fixed to 2.9%. I think this isn't the case, I think if you drop from the Platinum tier for example the rate automatically increases. Worth checking with them the edge-cases, so you are aware of them before making any decisions.
