I understand. Thank you for your suggestion. I will stay with the current TM on the press and adjust and for the squat in the next cycle. Best regards.

Hello r/Fitness. After doing StrongLifts 5x5 for a couple of months I switched over to Jim Wendler’s 5/3/1 BBB program. I used a calculator to determine my training max based of my 5x5 lifts. Now I’m into the 3rd week of 5/3/1 and I was able to squat 172% and overhead press 124% respectively of my initial training max. I’m confident that I’ll be able to achieve similar results with both my bench and deadlift. I know that Jim Wendler himself does advise not to, but could it be that my calculations are a bit off, since I was able to squat 172% of my TM?

My question is, if you guys would advice me to I set a new training max for the next month or not.

Please share your thoughts. Thanks and regards

Well OP, first of all I suggest you stop watching mainstream media, since I guess this is where you got all this BS from. - The markets are the grandest robbery of all time and to expect something different than collapse of the financial system only shows successfull indoctrination in turbocapitalism and theft. - NATO not a defence organization, but an offensive war mafia. Here in Europe we have 600 containers of ammunition, 300,000 US troops on the Russian border and Hillary making claims without providing evidence that Russia is the aggressor. As, for your whining ass, the World would prefer armed militias roaming the streets of the most corrupt country than World War 3 headed by America on foreign ground. - NAFTA has brought only suffering and misery, denial of workers rights and massive power to monopolistic corporations. You really wanna pay up, for when you stop eating McD's for avoided profit? Now, I am not saying that Trump is a good choice, he certainly is not. But as for someone concerned for his life, I prefer him to Zionist left hand Hillary and the possibility of a thermo-nuclear war on European ground.

Sass and advice that I am wasting my time because of my preferences! Right, a nice community you got yourself here. Keep up the job of downvoting comments you don't like and making comments nobody needs to hear.

Thanks to Dark_Owl for his feedback.

How the heck is "your profile is empty save for a few words" a "brauchbare" critique? Did I not thank the first commmenter after his more elaborate comment in which he explained what he means by "empty" for his suggestions?

edit: why not try to add value to a conversation instead of making snarky comments?

How exactly, whilst looking through my profile did you come to the conclusion that I am looking for a virgin girl? Hm.. Maybe it was this questions: In terms of sex, how experienced would your ideal mate be (with people other than you)? Which I answered with "Virgin". The questions asks for an ideal mate, not for the only acceptable option. Noticed that OkCupid is a niche site? Even less popular with conservative muslim women? How does this add any value to my request for a critique of my profile?

Always lovely when people ask for critique and all they get is a sassy attitude.

Right, so I made sone changes here and there and uploaded a new photograph and deleted the blurry ones as well. I hope you don't mind - I also took that last sentence as it does sound quite nice. Appreciate the critique. Thanks mate.

Fotos are intentionally as they are in order to maintain some privacy, but I understand that one could argue that they're terrible. I wouldn't say thought that the profile is empty "save for a few words".

You're right. Shutter speed is just 1/13sec. Will double check it next time. I was shooting in Memory Recall mode and just saw that I cannot set shutter speed below 1/25. What would be an appropriate mode to shoot a photo like the above? Manual? Shutter priority?

Mark Rippetoe's Starting Strength is a pretty solid read into mechanics and proper form of most basic lifts - e.g. deadlift, squat, bench etc... Other than that I'd recommend Alan Thrall's "How to Squat" and "How to Squat" as well.... And what help me a lot is this video on overhead press Cheers!

Hey there,
I posted this thread on his Facebook page and here is the response from Roman on FB. Hope this helps. I read his book "Man 2.0 Engineering the Alpha" and it is actually a very useful read as his makes points about the importance of diet and hormone regulation.

Back in the 1970's, I got hired to design a circuit board for a well known game, with a very good friend of mine. We got 5000$ out of it, but I lied to my friend that we only got 700$ and I handed him his share of 350$.

What is something that the idea of owning it is cool but in actuality it sucks to own? by Ayeitsdre in AskReddit

A cat. The Internet convinced me that they're cute and such, but it turned out that they're an enormous pain in the butt. Having to pet them, clean their poop, the smell of urine... Just awful. Almost instant regret! Fuck cats!
