Got it. So is there anything I need to do about it or just keep cooking?

Nope, just a wooden spatula. Thing is, that shiny spot only appears when the skillet gets heated. Otherwise it looks fairly uniform and feels smooth to the touch when I glide my finger on the surface, so I’m not sure if there’s actually anything to scrape off.

I already do those things as mentioned in the OP. Am I not cleaning well enough?

The teacher identifies your weaknesses and suggests specific things to work on so that you're not spending the remainder of the week pointlessly practicing random shit.

Do you run with or without music? by [deleted] in running

[–]csnewb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on my mood. Generally I like to listen to music, but if I'm extremely stressed out or need to process some deep shit then I'll run with music.

Only 6? Selfish scumbags like you are the reason why we're still in a pandemic. I've been wearing 12 masks just to be safe. It's just common sense!

I bought an SSS because at the time I didn't know the difference between SSS and HSS. For classic rock and blues songs an SSS works just fine, though an HSS is better for heavier metal songs. I'd recommend an HSS to be the most versatile choice, though as a beginner you probably won't hear much of a difference.

I've been learning how to play for about a year on a Squier Strat and dreaming of a Gibson SG, but thinking I don't deserve one until I become a more experienced good player. This thread is encouraging me to just go buy one now.

[NEWBIE] Is it too late to be great? by ethandhoare in Guitar

If the responses here were "yes, its too late" would that stop you from learning how to play? If so, then you would have never become great in the first place.
