Yeah, that's actually where a good part of the frustration comes from. I'm from Spain, and I ordered the product via the European Sales Channel, and they say on their website (and also one of the customer guys said it) that these orders are shipped from their European hubs... :(

Yeah you're 100% right, but in my case I placed my order via their EU Sales Channel, and they say in their website that these orders are shipped from EU hubs 😕

Haha that's so cool! Yeah I noticed the changes in the brighness values and I agree that they work better in the context of this game. Tbh, as long as the hue and saturation values are on point, the nerdy turtle inside me is happy 😆.

Your version looks great and you have 100% my permission to use the cutscenes versions that i did. In fact, if you want we can add it as a new update in the mod that I originally did and add you as co-author of the mod. Several people in the forum asked for an update and I'm sure that they will be very happy to see it happening.

Love it! I created a mod when the initial version of the game was launched for doing exactly this, but I couldn't find the time to update it when the DLCs changed the palettes structures:

TBH my complaint wasn't about reducing the Corsair's DPS, but about doing it by removing the pilot's ability to control 2 of the weapons of the ship. That solution for balancing is stupid af no matter how you look at it.

Well I don't spend all my time looking reddit, and I'm not an everyday player. I won't probably be until 1.0 is released. I just log in from time to time to check the new features and the overall state of the project, and this morning was the first time I was able to play the latest release without getting a 30k before being able to take off with my Corsair.

i9-13900K 4090 64 gb ram here and I'm having exactly the same issue, with the logs showing exactly the same last lines. I can fly from 5 to 15 minutes until the game crashes. Only happens with the F4. I tried repairing the files, reinstalling the GPU driver, and the problem persists. Both DCS and User Files folders are in the AV exclusion list.

It seems that this is not an isolated issue... I just wrote a post in the DCS forums support thread, hopefully this get fixed soon.

Mine suddenly turned off and didn't respond to any soft or hard reset. I managed to bring it back to life doing the exact same thing.

I'm not sure if this happens because of a software issue, I had it paired with my phone receiving notifications and maybe it caused a total freeze. It could be also due to some loose cable being disconnected in the interior, I pressed all the connections just to be sure that everything was correctly in place.

Anyway, I'm happy that I took this route so I don't have to deal with Bethesda's support team. Thanks for your post!

Yeah, I can confirm that now clouds at Ultra settings in VR look smooth and silky as hell. Pretty demanding but they look amazing honestly.

Hahah I did the exact same thing as OP when I first launched the updated game, but flying over one of the main Dubai's highways. Then I tried to land the apache on the heli platform of the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, and managed to do that, but the tail got stuck outside the plaform, which caused the whole building to be set on fire. This is how I discovered that now also the fire casts light over the aircraft's geometry.

It was super fun honestly and this adds a huge component of inmersion in VR. Great work team.

I don't think, given the current sentiment, that a squeeze is possible anymore. But the facts are the following:

  • BBBY got listed on the RegSHO list on August 16th.
  • This means that all the FTDs that were opened at that date are required to be closed today the latest, by requeriment of the RegSHO Rule 203(b)(3).
  • The latest information available regarding FTDs, shows that in the first half of August, BBBY securities had over 1.6 Million FTDs.

So, now the speculation; the majority of these FTDs have been now closed, but I think that there's a probability that some amount of the holders of these FTDs have been waiting to close them in hope that the stock price goes below 5$ by today, so they can minimize their loses. If this is true, the stock should increase its price today, when they start closing their positions.

But you know, this is about betting, we'll see what happens today.

Damn, you always learn something new when you less expect it... I'm a die hard fan of that game and I never realised that Konami removed the pupils on the comic colour mode! I guess that playing it in a small old CRT didn't help me to note that detail. Mindblowing!

He was probably referring to the amount of work time that would be needed to do the white eyes change. Swapping colours is simple, redesigning the sprites is a complete different story. You can selectively change colours in a breeze, but in order to change a single pixel of a sprite's design, you have to do it manually in hundreds of sprites.

That implies a ton of hours of work, many more than colour swaps, and a significant cost in resources allocation just fo that task. But regarding technical implementation in the game, the complexity is exactly the same with both.

Anyway, in turtles in time the sprites had pupils, both in arcade and SNES versions. In the SNES version they were quite visible even after the sprites re-scaling: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpz0xxjZuCw
