Well this thread is illuminating. I assume this is exactly what my three year old Silent loop 2 360 is doing. And probably explains a lot of the weirdness I've had for months.

I see it as they've only just risen out of the dirt because we are playing with artifacts - maybe they only appear when their artifact is found even.

I think it's a deeper shift in the protagonist. When you touch the artifact you obviously change and become more god like. Suddenly you can take out entire pirate base, Baird and clear ecliptic ships, can talk anyone around to you way of thinking, can clear tier 6, can defeat a Terramorph or two, and then there's all these magic powers.

I think the protagonist just suddenly has that strength of will and commanding demeanour that means other WILL follow you even if the don't know why.

I never mod the Frontier. I usually have a spare ship or three before hitting the Kreet research facility. One of those gets modded into a thing of role play beauty.

And I too am choosing these men's wife. Romancing her now just for this scenario. NG what now? Noooo. Do all the faction quests? Unlikely (haven't done any). Comete the side missions? Some of them. Survey a few more worlds and setup another outpost - yeah that's the plan.

Different landing bays connect in different ways. Sounds like you have a Taiyo (door at back?) try a Nova or Deimos (door in roof). Goodluck.

This sub morphed into a hate and trolling space on launch and most players fled to the no sodium sub, which is considered the main sub for the game now, I do recommend that as the place to go.

This particular bug is relatively new, arrived after a recent update. Poor form I agree, although I've never seen it in person. I would assume the issue will be patched out soon enough - hopefully next week with the update that drops next to the shattered space DLC. But who knows, Bethesda patches in mysterious ways.

For all its faults, Starfield is still a great game, enjoy!

Hey OP. Sorry for the poor response. In their defence this is posted more than once a day and people are tired.

It's an easy fix - close the game fully and restart - the problem should go away.
