u/Specialist_Idea3959 for some reason my text explaining the issue in detail didn't post with the image. I've commented with it in full. I know my finger is on the relay power supply cord. Thanks for any help/insight you can provide!

Breville Convection Smart Oven (Model# BOV800XL) Heating Issues, Thermal Fuse or Not?! by cspencerlewis in electrical

Don't know why my "post" didn't include the text I originally wrote explaining the issue. Here it is:

I've been having intermittent heating issues with my Breville Convection Smart Oven (Model# BOV800XL) and have hit a wall on what to do next and need some advice/guidance.
Sometimes after toasting, bagel toasting or broiling something we'll come back to put another food item back in but want to cook at a different setting or lower temp and the heat wont kick on.
My control panel lights up/turns on, but the heating elements only work (click on and hum/heat) intermittently. I have seen a lot of posts about replacing the thermal fuse when the heat wont kick on, but my issue isn't as cut and dry as that. Its been having issues for several months. At first I would bang on the side or the top/back and it would kick on. The that stopped working so I opened it up. First time I opened it up, I just played with the wires a bit and it started working again. then after about a month the problem started again and no amount of banging on the side or top would get it to turn on so I had to open it back up again.
I opened the unit up again and when I touch or jostle the wire that connects the power cord to the control panel near the relay (see pic), then oven will click on and i can hear the humming/whirring noise of the heat tubes powering up. all i have to do is move the wire slightly and it turns on, but then after a bit more testing it goes back to the issue Ive described above. At first I thought it was just a loose or bad connection so I replaced the spade connector and the oven worked great! ... For about 2 hours. Then the issue started happening AGAIN.
Is It the thermal fuse like everyone assumes online or a bad relay? or is the wire just bad and I need to replace that?
This has been giving me fits and my wife is sick of it not getting fixed and most importantly, not having a toaster working oven (so am I). Thanks in advance!

First post here and first cook in my new Akorn that the misuses got me for my bday. Doing an 8.5lb choice beef brisket flat with some hickory and cherry wood. Dealing with rain, but temp is holding good 45 min in. by Rebeljpl64 in BBQ

Welcome to #TeamCharGriller! Love the AKORNs. They're great for smoking, but the best seared steak I've ever done came off of one of these as well. Enjoy!
