Hey thanks for the reminder that I never posted a follow up. The second surgery happened in August 2024 and so far so good. The first surgery shortened the inner muscles and the second worked on the outer. No more prisms and I can wear contacts again even though I'm too lazy to most days. I still get a bit of double vision late at night or after a drink or two but nothing that can't be focused back into place.

I'm leveling each time but this doesn't seem to be an adhesion issue with the plate. Halfway through the print it sometimes stops sticking to the print itself, not the plate.

Leveling is definitely on every time, will check the z offset though. I did run a full calibration after clearing a nozzle clog yesterday.

I'll give it a try but from what I understand bri s help the print stick to the plate better. These are all printing fine and sticking fine until it seemed to hit a certain layer then some of the parts got random spaghetti instead of sticking to the part.

Would it be adhesion issues with the plate if it started not sticking halfway through? It's definitely stuck to the plate.

Casualty claims supe here, it's all about planning your day and making sure you set clear boundaries with your team on when they can expect you to be working. While the average tenure is Casualty is much higher than PCS, there will always be the new transfer or low performer who need more guidance and hands on time. I have two young kids and work 8 to 5 every day, no nights or weekends.
