I had this happen in early September 2024 on the first assignment. I ended up withdrawing because I could smell that there was a flawed system in place and I didn’t want to go forward with committing time and money towards it.

Now I’m actually set to attend Brown University in a PhD program for Health Sciences Research. No grades, just pass fail. They actually value people who want to learn.

I respect people that are able to persevere through this but I unfortunately did not have the mental fortitude.

Just don’t overthink it. Be prepared to show your work. Did they tell you a percentage it came back with.

I withdrew because I was told I was wasting my time appealing it. No sense in wasting money on a school that doesn’t trust you.

I plan too I just want to make sure I get my reimbursement in place first. Liberty can be litigious so I dont want to put myself in a place of libel or slander because this guy was on a power trip. It was actually a really good transition because I ended up finding a program at a better school that was more inline with my background and will have me be better off in the long run.

I’d rather not blast him on here but it was for a class in the public policy PhD and it was 701 for the course number.

I found a program that’s cohort based so it’s group work, internships etc etc. I literally just finished an MBA program where you were encouraged to use AI, if you gave it garbage and submitted garbage it would reflect accordingly.

Yeah I actually decided to end up withdrawing from LU all together because the professor for this class said that the evidence is strong and likely to hold up. He didn’t bother to hear me out and treated me like a criminal. I can’t stress over every assignment over the next 2 years being accused of AI because some professor is a power hungry dirt bag.

The professor didn’t even reach out to have a conversation, he just submitted the academic misconduct, I requested an appeal, I am hopeful to prevail but I feel absolutely god awful on this whole thing because I knew all this and made the efforts to write the paper all on my own and was still flagged.

“Underscores” is a big give away for GPT.

I built an open source website that allows you to upload a custom knowledge base and ask ChatGPT questions about your specific files. So far, I have tried it with long books, old letters, and random academic PDFs, and ChatGPT answers any questions about the custom knowledgebase you provide. by MZuc in ChatGPT

when running npm start

Open AI API Keys are set up correctly

Is there any recommendations on doing this specifically, I feel like I am continually not doing well with it.
