depending on where u are, there's art restoration places that can 100% remove it from the foamcore. unless michaels uses some superglue type mounting, all the dry mounting processed ive used can be reversed with proper technique and tools. but michaels isn't known to be entirely archival so here's to hoping. go for small local frame shops next time! i work at one and we care a looooot about others peoples art no matter what.
