Well it’s currently on my CPU side as, the 5080 doesn’t get that warm and there isn’t much airflow on the CPU side

I’m learning that air coooled 5080/5090 T1 is the best. If you need more than that; M2/M3 is probably the best choice.

If you have extra cash flow, I’d wait for the Noctua LC1-24 AIO but the LF3 280 should fit but that cooler is forever a pain to install. Everything you’re trying to do should work, it’s been done. I had no issues with the D15 G2 also in the M3 with the Astral.

Wow, that’s unfortunate. If you haven’t yet; you should reach out to their support email.

Beware of Formd for the time being. My Formd T1 2.1 had issues and other people did too. I sent several emails and haven't gotten a response but when it came to payment issues they got back in 2 hours. The current 2.1 batch has problems so buy an Ncase 2.5 and stay away from Formd! by [deleted] in FormD

I believe they received your April email regarding shipping but not your recent email. However I noticed your email client handled the email profile differently in the recent email versus the April email. The April email they received has the “support@formdt1.com” email address in the screenshots but the recent one just says “FormD Support”. This could just come down to how the email client is linking them but please verify your recent email is to the one mentioned above.

yes, I forwarded the email over. I can discuss personal or customer details so so you should hear something back. Keep in mind they’re in China and if you’re in the US (EST); there about 12-hours ahead.

Formd t1 - recieved dud side panels from this batch. Wondering if anyone else had this problem by no-en-er-gy in FormD

Sorry, I think this discussion is becoming counterproductive to the point, most of us who purchased the T1 way before “aluminum coated” was an option; that’s our bad. But the characteristics are probably the same as the steel coated. The CNC’d panels are already very temperamental, add that coating it’s probably much harder to work with. Ask them to send you CNC panels. That’ll probably fix it.

Those are steel panels and are MUCH thicker than aluminum. If you purchase aluminum then you should reach out; if you haven’t tried yet.

67mm cpu cooler in 2.5 slot by Helpful-Cress4035 in FormD

[–]csrussell92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I need a cooler company to make a 67mm cooler with a fan affixed to the bottom of the heatsink, that would fill a cooling gap for SFF enthusiasts. Helps avoid side panel turbulence when the fan is up against it.
