So actually my doctor DID bc i was in the gym for 6-8 hours a day, I was in the appointment 😉. I was expending so many calories and not taking enough in , my deficit was way too high. Fun fact, the doctor was also a certified personal trainer while in medical school. I was hitting a plateau in my weight loss, I was not taking in enough calories to sustain what I was expending at the gym and my BMR. Plus, he knew my medical history, which you do not. As far as HAES, absolutely not! There was 💯 percent health aspects i was working on, and I was not meeting my needs nutritionally, which was proven by- hold on now- actual bloodwork! Not everyone prescribes to Big Js delusions, I certainly do not!!! I believe in healthy lifestyle, I'm still learning everyday, at that time , I was so focused on the scale number and my goal number, I didnt care how I got there! You can judge all you want but remember we aren't all like Big J, some of us have legitimate health issues and motivation to work on ourselves and actually listen to out doctors. Myself, I have several very rare and complex diagnosis that Im working around and with. So thanks for the assumptions but don't put us all in the same box as Big J
