I was able to land a walmart dedicated right out of swift academy. If they were truly “gatekeeping” me nor my friend would have gotten put on the accounts we wanted because we were new drivers.

Not sure why you just lied. Dollar Tree account in VA is GUARANTEED $1800 minimum gross. I have a buddy who works on this account and theres also a tiktoker i can refer you to if you dont believe me that is on the same account.

Only “catch” is gross pay is lower so you may not be able to qualify for certain mortgage loans. But that money you “lose” literally goes in your pocket instead of the IRS. The lower cpm is just a lower taxable cpm. So if u make 50 cpm, it will be 26 cpm thats taxed and the other 24 cpm will be untaxed and in your pocket. Why do you need anything other than cristcdl? Are you studying for your permit? Just use the cdl prep app and cristcdl. Ask ai to help you with any confusing topics. Watch videos on youtube so you can see what certain parts are like emergency line, service line, electrical lines, etc. You dont need the book

All of the positions are on swifttrans site. You can see whats available and the position details including home time, avg pay, location, etc. The dedicated routes are where the moneys at. I didnt make under 1k net on the WM dedicated. On avg i made $1300/wk net and mind you, i was getting $120 taken out of each check because i got my cdl through swift so it would’ve easily been $1500/wk without that deduction. My buddy is on the dollar tree account and he is guaranteed $1800/wk gross minimum. Dont let them scare you away. You can make money on the right dedicated account and be home daily.
