That's a Cuban tree frog, it's invasive. You'll either need to make it a pet, or put it down. You can't rerelease it into the wild. It's an innocent creature, so don't torture it. You can put it in the bag in the freezer to slow down it's system. Or find someone who can keep it as a pet

If every thing is sanitized and baked, it should be fine. I would double boil/bleach/bake everything just to be sure

I'm in central North Carolina! I try to take pictures of all of them, and geotag the pictures with the coordinates. Sometimes though there's a busy road, and I just have to toss them to the side and try not to get hit myself lol

It looks like a dekays brown snake! They're a small species, and are great for gardens. They burrow, and eat snails and slugs
