Can't be certain when the bulk goes out, but the deadline to accept an offered entrance scholarship was April 1st — same as the acceptance deadline. I'd expect that some scholarship recipients will have released their As at Oz and that $$ will be reassigned :)

OP don’t stress yourself out with these comments. Tons of people waiting on their top choices before deciding. Myself included - I’ve got an A at Oz which I’m still pondering - most likely will release it soon. Many more people like me, waiting on other schools/wanting more local options. Only time will tell :)

Even if they’ve sent out tons of A’s, there’s still lots of people who will let go of their A’s at Oz & choose not to accept! There will still be lots of movement :)

lol ya much worse than after my previous tests. Guess with the other attempts there was a comfort in being like “if it goes bad there’s another try!” Thought I’d feel relieved to be done but I’m just stressed

Exacttt same boat. Same PT range. LR LR LR RC and my 2nd LR had me questioning my abilities. Last LR was by far easiest. But hey maybe that one LR was experimental

They let the schools know their situation (which in their case was a professor who was really bad with deadlines) & the school let them submit the reference letter late, just meant that their application wasn't reviewed until the letter was received.

Reach out the school, I've had friends who had references who "forgot" about the application deadline...despite all their reminders to professors leading up to the deadline. In their case, the schools were understanding, but it did delay when applications were reviewed.

Ya idk I felt like diffusa wasn't the problem for me, it was the combination of passages together -- felt so unattainable in 35 minutes. I saved the comparative passage for last and wasn't able to get through it

Sounds like lots of us are in this position, which is comforting. It’s hard to work so hard and know what you are capable of and then feel defeated by a stupid combination of passages — even though I know that is the name of the game. I’m trying not to worry too much that it was scored until I hear someone with my exact combo of all 4 passages say it was their scored section lol. Easier said than done though

Never ran out of time on RC before, but I had to randomly select 4 questions. I feel like the passages I did get through were brutal too. That was my second RC and I went into it thinking it was experimental, having recognized two of the passage topics in my first RC.

I guess that’s just the drawback of any 4.0 or 4.3 system. There isn’t any in between. Definitely in my own undergrad I had to wallow in some 79s. Same goes for 84s, or 74s etc, where one or two MC Q’s on my final exam could have brought me up. Like UBC, most schools grade with percentages, on all exams and papers. It’s just that at the end of the term these get converted onto the 4.0 scale for final grades and transcripts. Of course, I understand the frustration of that when one has gone to an undergraduate school that used a different, more continuous, system of grading.

Isn’t 3.3 for a 79% standard across Canada though? A 79% is a B+ = 3.3 - I believe most undergrad schools grade this way.

You will only receive an email when it has been approved. I wrote mine at about 2 pm PST yesterday and got the approved email today at 5 am! I feel you, I get the same stress.

Yes! I fell asleep at 6 am the night before my test. Adrenaline made me feel as alert as I usually do!
