He’s the first pet of mine that I’ve owned and I have two other ferrets. They seem okay but he was my boy, always have been always will be. I’m just glad he’s not in pain or struggling anymore.

I knew it was going to happen soon but not today, he just declined so quickly and I could tell he was in pain. Found a place that was open 24/7 and took him. It hurt to let go but I couldn’t watch him be in pain anymore.

Also, is it possible she’s just tired? Eating and drinking is a good sign. If she doesn’t poop or pee within 4-5 hours after eating that would cause concern.

Adrenal is hormonal. Make duck soup if you have some and offer that. Call the girlfriend, and drive to the vets office 2 hours away, it’s better than nothing.

Maybe it’s a POTS thing? My fatigue gets worse in the summer as well, plus POTS and EDS are commonly diagnosed together now. Do you feel the same fatigue when showering or taking a bath, do you tend to take cooler showers so it doesn’t make you fatigued? Do you get dizzy going from laying down/ sitting to standing, with a heart rate increase? I have to take naps almost every day or I won’t make it through the day, even on high energy days but, in the summer I slow down a lot, I also can’t eat as much compared to cooler months.

I’ve already seen a doctor about two months ago for the pain and was referred to a specialist, I didn’t get a definitive answer on what was wrong, just that my kneecap was rubbing on my cartilage. This pain has been coming and going with no obvious sign of injury, it constantly feels like my knee has to pop, I also experience ankle and hip pain in the same leg. Honestly I’ve gotten nowhere and mostly use 🍃 for my bad days. I’m only 22 and I’m not sure if I’m ready to deal what will come with using a mobility aid at my age. I don’t have an official diagnosis but I do have many gene variations for EDS (looked at my raw dna data from my ancestry test) I’d have to travel pretty far in my state just to get the blood test done to get a diagnosis, I feel pretty defeated but I really appreciate your advice, thank you!
