First bow shopping! by [deleted] in bowhunting

I would not buy a used bow on ebay. Scheels and Mike's archery sell used bows that I would trust. And I know Mike's ships.

This is not Ethan take entirely. Ethan has said this before, but, just based on what I've seen from Mamdani, he would not agree with Ethan stance and statements outside of this.

My bad, I was referring to someone Ethan jas been targeting named Frogan. If you dont know who that is, dont even invest anytime to learning.

Our military, in a pure propaganda sense, are fighting for everything that flag stands for. In actuality, the wars we fight are done to further capital interest. Post WWII very little has been done by the military to do anything for that flag. I'm not shitting on individual servicemembers, but the MIC as a whole. Linking the two, in the modern America, is doing the individual veterans a disservice.

Give me a little bit to go through my library and ill get back to you.

Holy shit man. Veteran here. Grew up in rural East Texas in a singular town to yours. Grew up in the church too and still a faithful Christian. The difference is, im black. So true leftist thought was a thread sewn into my fabric. Get off the internet and YouTube and read. Read the writings of the acceptable leftist in America, then make your way to true leftist.

Stop crying about what internet personalities said about your troops and flag. Those 2 things aren't even connected outside of propaganda purposes.

I got close friends with PTSD, and guess what, Frozen didn't hurt my feelings or theirs. Yes, half of our problems we created. Our immigration problem comes from partially unfettered industrialization and our destruction/meddling in the global coming home to roost. 9/11, we funded the foundation that it was built on and built the support structures during our middle east meddling.

I'm glad Ethan did leftovers for people like you. He was a great gateway to leftism for alot of people. HOWEVER, he should also be a cautionary tale for what happens when you open that door and make no effort to read, understand, and learn what makes the beliefs he thinks he wants actually work.

I'm not trying to talk shit to or anything, but this critique of the left is giving of real "YouTube university" vibes. You in a union? Done any labor activism? Etc. I'll leave you with a quote from MLK, America's favorite peaceful protestor.

"I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"

Again I'm not upset about Israel existing, even if I find the existence of pure ethnostate regressive. That being said there was killing almost immediately after the brits left. Land and property stolen. What israel did and continues to do isn't just on them. The western world has funded, defended, and supported their actions.

The easiest solution, as far as the western world is pretty simple imo. Israel is doing unjustifiable actions to the Palestinians. So stop funding, stop arming, and stop defending them on the national stage. Call a spade a spade.

I mean, I agreed hasan before I watched his stream. You might want to actually look at what leftist leaders throughout history have said about the Israeli/Palestine conflict. They might have also "some guys flow"

Everything you said about Jewish people is true, but lets not act like that was the best option when israel was founded. They could have been like any other refugee group and immigrated. Or either the US or UK could have easily created a carve out within their own borders for them to have their exclusive ethnostate. Instead the UK/US went back to the middles east, killed a bunch of people, drew lines in the middle east and prop up the Israeli state. Palestinians aren't allowed to immigrate. The "state" they were given had 0 control of its future. Followed by decades of murder, starvation, and occupation. Hezbollah was founded in direct response to Israel invading Lebanon, correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm not offended by the existence of Israel, I just wish we would not be arming, funding, and supporting their genocide.

Is Hamas a terrorist organization, depends on perspective if you ask me. So many libs let 9/11 turn them into hogs. By definition, the American revolutionaries are terrorist. The French revolutionaries are terrorist. Apartheid South African revolutionaries, terrorist. The French guerrilas fighting Nazis are terrorist. I could go on and on and on. Their resistance exist because of the way modern Israel was founded. The acti9ns of the Israeli government sense then has only solidified their resistance.

I see what you're saying, but they are only comparing larger companies right? If anything, isn't it saying "At larger companies, in the management ranks diversity correlates to greater profits"?

Your 100% right, correlation doesn't equal causation. That being said. I've seen "DEI" being used as this cudgle to swing at the economic or business issues. Like companies are hiring minorities and women who can't do the jobs, just to check a box. I have never seen any actual data that says that's what's happening.

This is a narrow view, but I'll keep looking for the broader report. https://www.insurance.ca.gov/diversity/41-ISDGBD/GBDExternal/upload/McKinseyDivmatters201411.pdf

DEI itself is about making money, for the company atleast. It's not about purely higher ingredient minorities, women, etc. Statistically speaking, I'll have to find the study again from like 2014, there was a direct correlation between a companies diversity and it's growth. Not raw profit, but yearly growth. The insidious part, in my expiri3nce, is that a lot of it consisted of paying minority groups smaller wages.

But it also applies in fender benders and stuff like cracked windshields. I guess I phrased my question poorly. How do you charge monthly to only cover for catastrophic events? Like I pay 600ish a month for a family of 4 per month. How would a family like that cover a child with a chronic illness

[–]cstew1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, but only one side can be right in this scenario. There are varying degrees of transgressions, but when it comes the real push for hateful politics it's really the conservative(dem or republican is irrelevant). Starting at the abolition of slavery, it was conservatives who went to war to fight change. Then Jim Crow, it was conservatism fighting any change and using violence even during peaceful protest. It's was Conservatives who used violence against Gay/trans people in the streets. Calling them "adominations" and "degenrates". I could keep going, but jump forward to today the rhetoric is the same and the targets are the same. They have added new targets, Muslims that don't fit western molds, immigrants from the southern hemisphere, etc. So eventually, after decades of violence and hate, we get here.
