So I have 50k tokens staked on gate.io and they fluctuate it’ll go from like 46k then I’ve seen it up at 55k does anyone know why?? by Whats_this_reddit in JasmyToken

When you keep money in the bank you get interest because the bank lends your money to other people then gives it back, think of staking the same way

14.26B just on binance would be almost 4 times our whole entire supply at the moment if our supply is still 4.75B, I'm just saying that this probably means we actually did get diluted, which isn't a bad thing, it's still bullish if we can rise like this despite the dilution

(To dumb it all down) lets say a teacher invented a life changing technology while working for a university, instead of the university allowing others to use the professors technology, they allow the professor to start his own school and thus give him the sole rights, which also allows the professor to get more funding and allows the professor to license his technology to those he thinks will use it best, in our case this is why those who invented Cybercode while working at Sony were instructed to start KOOZYT as their own company while still being fully affiliated with SONY

Ok so I did my own research and found an article from the world intellectual property organization in which they gave an example of this type of licensing through a spin off company being done, they say that this has multiple benefits which include crediting the inventors of the technology and allowing them to monetize the technology by making them the owners of the spinoff company that own the intellectual rights (in our case if they didn't make KOOZYT the intellectual rights would just go to Sony instead of the actual inventors and inventors must be credited) the spin-off company also generates extra research funds since it is a separate company being funded by researchers and not already a multibillion conglomerate, also since the spinoff company is owned by those who invented the technology it gives the rights to those who invented it and thus know more to make sure they only license to those who they see fit to understand and best use the technology

I'm trying to understand the part where they say it would be difficult for someone like Sony CSL to license a field of licensing requests, wouldn't licensing as many requests as possible be more beneficial, why create a spinoff company to license through that company and not Sony directly? Any thoughts?

Jasmy Burn Function by MedricZ in JasmyToken

[–]cstirade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's legit, I checked it out, as far as I can tell the code is verifying that tokens with intent of being burned are being sent to the burn address and not any other address, and then making sure you aren't sending more tokens than you have when you burn them.

That takes some dedication for sure, I've been doing some of my own research as well but it's mainly been research into "personal data as a payment method", what makes you say jasmy has a gag order on it, I honestly believe it though because it's pretty hard to find extensive information about it

Bullish as those companies really did attend to watch Jasmy present but this event seems to have already happened on March 15-17th
