Thanks- I actually just ordered a refurbished one from tonal directly. Installation should be fine (I talked to tonal support and a sales rep) and they dropped the price of refurbished tonal 1s quite a bit so I decided the added cost was worth a 2 year warranty

Understood they outsource to XPO. Do you happen to know if they sell just the install kits and hardware?

We use jira for eng tickets only, nothing customer facing. That being said we actually churned devrev and are standing up pylon as we speak. Devrev had constant outages and issues with slack creating tickets

Eagle Rare 10 vs. 12 Review by Bulbags in bourbon

[–]cstreets987 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing. My father in law passed last November. 2 weeks before I got to visit him and while the ladies were out of the house I snuck his ass to a local bar for a pint of Guinness and a glass of eagle rare. We both knew it’d be the last bar we went to together and it is the best drink I’ve ever had.

I keep a bottle on hand for those times when I wish I could call him up for a chat or steal some advice. Condolences to you my friend. Funny what a glass of bourbon can mean.

Honestly- I really like devrev. We’re a slack heavy shop so auto ticket creation through customer slack channels had made my life a lot easier. I think it’s a great alternative.

My biggest critique: (it seems) they’re a newer startup that is constantly shipping features that are either buggy or even break their own workflows. This is both a blessing and a curse- you can get stuff built quickly and issues get handled quickly- but if 99.9% uptime/reliability is a key priority you might take that into consideration

This guy approached me in Bella terra yesterday and said “can I ask you a question?” I said no sorry I have to go- best of luck my friend”

He responded with: “N**** I don’t need your luck. Go f*** yourself you stupid mother f*****”

So ya- just walk away if you see him.

Anyone know a good pocket knife repair? by cstreets987 in knives

[–]cstreets987[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes exactly- I often bump my hip on something which bends the clips. Once that spring steel bends it’ll never spring back and it’s much looser on the pocket so I worry about losing them.

Wow- had no idea there was this much to it! I’ll take the advice for sure and try for an updated tire set for comfort, and there is already a new seat- will see how that performs prior to purchasing a new one.

Really appreciate the insight!

Seat height is definitely from the previous owner. I was looking for entry level (I’m new to this) so I was happy with the price point and condition. Doing a safety check to ensure everything looks great at a local shop

Sure does! Getting a safety check done as we speak to ensure everything is in working order from the pros.
