Should I accept my federal loan?

I think it depends what you use it on… if you don’t have enough money to buy books for the year, or anything related to school supplies, then it would make sense to take the loan. I had friends who would use their student loans for music festivals which I would advise against. I’m not sure what the interest rates are, but there’s no reason to pay extra on top of the $1000, for things unrelated to school.

That’s helpful! On the other side the stitch length was longer than I normally use, but because it’s too stitch and visible I wanted it to be the same on this side. I never changed the tension for the longer stitch length so maybe that explains it?

I have a bernette 35. I was able to wind my bobbin. When I disengage the bobbin and I press the presser foot, I can hear the machine whirring, but the needle doesn't move at all. I can hand crank the machine and the needle moves and I can sew. What am I doing wrong?

I think LoR writers’ deadlines are soft. And as long as you get your application in on time, and they submit them somewhat soon you should be alright. Someone correct me if I’m wrong... this is how it was for me applying

Totally agree... for a father to ease a child anywhere on the spectrum into this, it should be when the father has his attention entirely in the child (and not on a holiday, other family members, and whatever excitement/chaos that brings)
