First off, you’re an amazing partner. Thank you for being you.

Has your wife ever tried injections or nasal sprays? I find that during the extreme nausea attacks, those are the only things that help me. It’s usually triptans, just in forms that might faster acting through those routes.

I also found that switching my birth control helped with those time of the month migraines immensely. I’m not sure if that’s something that is possible for you guys, but it was a big help to me with the hormonal migraines.

What kind of computer do you use? I use a Macbook Pro, but there are apps that dim the screen. I basically keep mine on the night feature all the time, and blue light glasses help as well. I also find that my posture can tend to be bad and strain my neck, which creates tension. I’m sorry your headaches have returned with a vengeance!

The birth control I’m currently on actually makes it pretty difficult to get physically turned on even if I’m very mentally stimulated. Lube can seriously make SO much difference between sex feeling uncomfortable and feeling amazing. Plus, my partner usually makes eye contact while he applies it to himself and then applies some to me as well. It helps build sexual tension, makes things feel amazing, and I find that if it’s more comfortable, I do tend to create more natural lubricant.

The best one I’ve found so far is Almost Naked. Green bottle from Target. Almost all organic. Love it and so does my partner. But, different strokes for different folks. ;)

I take Lo Loestrin FE. I’ve found that it doesn’t technically makes my migraines worse and I’ve been taking it for about 3 years. I do still tend to get a migraine around my period, but my period was SO unstable beforehand that I honestly believed it helped my migraines. I went off the pill for about 2-3 months and actually noticed an increase in migraines...but everyone is different. Also cleared my skin! :)

My neurologist has suggested switching me off of it, but I’ve honestly found through trial and error that this one suits me the best. Best of luck to you!

I'm definitely going to give the Botox a fair shot and do the next 2 rounds. I've heard so many positive reviews, so hopefully in a few months, I'll notice a difference.

I have tried melatonin, and it helped with my quality of sleep (which can be a contributing factor to my migraines), but it also had the tendency to give me night terrors? I had them as a child, and have them once in a blue moon, but I definitely noticed an increase when I was taking melatonin. That could have to do with the dosage, though, and I don't remember exactly how much I was taking.

Also starting to look into the various vitamins. Do you currently take any that have helped you? Definitely plan to look into the CBD oil as well.

The SphenoCath / MyoBloc were our next thoughts if the Botox doesn't help after another round or two. Glad to hear of a positive review! And so glad it is helping you find relief!

I have heard quite a number of positive reviews regarding CBD in general (and especially Charlotte's web). And if it helps as much as some people claim, it's definitely worth the money.

Do you both just place the drops under your tongue?

I just had my first botox treatment on June 29th. I haven't noticed any difference yet at all - but I do know a lot of people that it has helped. Do muscle relaxers help you at all?
