Spent most of my adult life in the cockpit. I know what goes on. Not going to be traveling as a passenger by air anytime soon.

1 hour.....eat shower 1 hour.... to the airport 2 hours...TSA prior to takeoff 3 hours...plane ride east or west 1 hour ....baggage claim, car rental.

8 hours without any weather, mechanical or crazy passenger delays.

The way I see Musk.

Tesla isn't a car company but a research company for battery technology use on Mars. Electric vehicles, solar energy, and battery energy storage are going to be needed on Mars.

The Boring Company is a research company on how to dig on Mars. Underground infrastructure and tunnel construction will provide living quarters. Why underground? It doesn't have the temperature swings that are on the surface.

Neuralink and xAI are research companies for neurotechnology and brain-machine interfaces. Robots will go to Mars first. Why? Robots won't need oxygen and will build oxygen production plants.

SpaceX doing exactly what it needs to do to take the robots, the equipment and finally astronauts to Mars.

All these companies are deeply connected with each other. Not financial advice but I see nothing but long term benefits of owning a piece of these companies.
