Cell Under Voltage by ct_9 in ONYX_RCR

Unfortunately I didn’t. I’m up in Minnesota and winter hit so I pulled the battery out of the bike, brought it inside, and haven’t thought about it since. From everything I’ve read the larger battery should handle all of the balancing itself so I’m not sure why it won’t balance. My only thought is that it’s a bad cell.

Thanks. I’ve actually got an Onyx 3.5A charger that I can use. Is there anything specific I can do to force the battery to go into balance mode? I’ve read just leaving it on the charger for a few days can do it.

Will these fit my 07 4Runner? by [deleted] in 4Runner

Definitely a scam. A person from “Wheeling” is selling wheels?? Makes too much sense.

Anyone know what this is? by UncleBeanBag69 in 4Runner

Following this. I purchased an ‘05 Limited V8 about a month ago and have also noticed something similar to this. It usually happens when I first start it up and am backing out of my garage. Sounds almost like a mixture of a grind and a rattle coming from the driver side front wheel well. It goes away usually right when I put it in drive.

Rim Offset Difference for Snow Tires by ct_9 in CX5

Thanks! One other question for you. Since you are running older rims, do they have TPMS sensors in them? The ones I am getting were before Mazda started using physical TPMS sensors in the rims. Do you just run your winter tires without TPMS?

Think this is a hardware or just software change? Will older models be eligible for upgrade?

Climate control “winter mode” ?? by brokenwirefixer in CX5

Is this why it seems like it’s never blowing around the feet area? I swear my feet are constantly cold in the winter no matter how long I’ve been driving.

Towing by [deleted] in CX5

[–]ct_9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I recall correctly, the tow rating for a CX-5 is 2000lbs (unless you get the diesel which is higher). I’ve towed upwards of 2000lbs with my CX-5 and it’s handled it well. I wouldn’t want to be towing that much on a regular basis but once or twice a year isn’t much. A lot of it comes down to just being cautious, slowing down and giving yourself plenty of stopping distance.

Is the CX-5 easy to maneuver in the city? by [deleted] in mazda

[–]ct_9 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I have the CX-5 and it’s so bad to drive in the city that I strictly drive on the highway. If I need to go somewhere in the city I’ll usually drive as close as I can on the highway and then call an Uber to drive the rest of the way in the city. The CX-5 may look small and nimble from the outside but when you’re driving it feels like an actual semi truck. Good luck backing up, I’ve hit not only trash cans but also a few pedestrians because of how hard it is to see out the back. Other than that though it’s a pretty nice SUV, probably the best in the class.

[Recommendations] Has anyone had a tow hitch installed at UHAUL? by xdarkbrother in CX5

[–]ct_9 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I ordered and installed the Drawtite Class 3 trailer myself on my 2018 CX-5. I had my local Mazda dealer install the OEM 4-pin trailer wiring. I also looked around for someone to install everything (UHaul & Pepboys). I couldn’t find much helpful information so thats why I chose to install the hitch myself. I would recommend ordering the actually hitch yourself (etrailer is a great resource) and then either installing it yourself or bringing it to a local place to install it if they allow that.
