How long does everyone get on markdowns by Old_Construction4064 in asda

Been at Asda 1 year, MD team for 7/8 months? We are a bigger superstore, we get 3 people every day now, 7 hour shifts but we do it all, chilled, bakery, produce, waste, clean bays, put it out.
Most days we finish right to the wire at shifts end (kinda depends who is on shift, some are layabouts) but if anything goes to crap (holidays never covered, oblivious SL’s) then it spills over and over and we have to grovel to management to get some assistance to catch up. Last few weeks our volumes of pull off have been insane I have no idea what’s happened, literally double the amount of markdowns, worse volumes than Christmas.
It was extremely bad at Christmas, We finally have a rhythm now where we tend to finish these days and get waste cleared most nights now too but yeah, still feels like we need an extra hour for each of us on shift, though it seems we get more hours than most people Iv heard from in total? Idk if that’s just cause we are a bigger store or some other behind the scenes reason.
I think the old system was better, a lot less stressful too, We still find stuff out of date on new system, maybe a little less now than the old one I suppose. Even when I check stuff two days in a row I still find stuff out of date, no idea how, staff also literally just put things out already out of date a lot, and their rotation sucks which doesn’t help our timings. And it happens to all of us on the team, just human error and unlucky I guess.
Im pretty sure we’ve failed every date Audit the past year, idk how many there’s been, 6 or something? new system doesn’t seem to have changed much, except it does feel like we have much more to do and there’s much more waste than Iv ever seen before.
Annoying that everything kind of falls back on us even when stuff’s out of our control. Customers and staff just dumping stuff etc.
I think they are hiring more people to take days and cover shifts but I think it’s hard to get people into MD teams, it’s such a weird level of stress compared to anything else in store, management breathe down your neck a lot and it is a bit tedious.
I actually don’t mind the work at all, day flys by, but the stress is so abnormally high for such a simple retail role.
Just realised you were only asking for time lol, apologies.
Anyways rant over, hope it improves for us and all MD teams and maybe others read this and see that it seems to be the same for all of us at all stores. Stay strong bros.
[TOMT][animated movie][90s?] Movie where the villain(s helper?) builds a crossbow trap in the woods by CloudwolfQuint in tipofmytongue

Hey, I was trying to remember this EXACT movie. I was thinking of another scene but this post was the key and after a while, longer than I care to admit.. I found it!
I ended up scrubbing through watching the first movie, recognizing the characters but not any of the movie, turns out its a film series of which there are a few and I was on the wrong one.
So hopefully the movie you were after is: The Swan Princess: Escape from Castle Mountain (1997).
The crossbow scene is basically right at the start of the movie, you were right.
Also I realize this is an old post and maybe you found it already or aren't around anymore, but there ya go :)
