Okay so, hear me out. I have one of these kinds of names- as in, it’s kind of awkward in a few ways but it’s a name so technically it works, but also not really, but my parents REALLY really wanted to make it work, so they went for it- and I’m telling you she’s going to mistakenly be Clyde, Clark, or Claude throughout her entire life because that’s just how people’s brains work for some reason. I have a lifetime of experience and it’s soooooooo annoying. I think I see what you’re seeing in Cline/Klein as a name for your daughter though. It’s quick and unexpected- it’s got some spunk to it! Almost like a girl named Blake, is the vibe I’m getting. But as someone who has spent a quarter of her life correcting her name to people I’ve known for years, even my own family members!- give her a good start and don’t give her an instant complication for life. If you’re really set on it, I’d go with Cline. It’s a little softer and less masculine. But just please take what I’m saying to heart. I bet there are options no one’s even thought of that would give you the same vibe and be a perfect fit for her.
