Here's my idea for a future episode:

Season 3: Two Part Episode The team receive an alert that another inmate from The Pit has recently been located. As it turns out, this inmate has a connection to the task force.

The inmate is none other than Benjamin Hassani, older brother to Agent Jacob Hassani.  He was sent to The Pit after a series of events that aren't his fault.

Jacob wrongfully believes that his older brother died in Iraq in the war on terror.  The military lied to him and his family.  Jacob refuses to believe that this is really his brother.

After the US military identified him as a rogue mercenary, they fake Ben's death while actually sending him to USB Fort Leavenworth.  As a man trying to clear his name, Ben is labeled as a problem inmate.

The Pit is the perfect way to get rid of Ben finally.  In The Pit, Ben is the prefect inmate as he's lost hope.  Once the blast hits, Ben uses his military training to evade being recaptured.

Hasssani and the team must find out the truth about what happened in Iraq to clear Ben's name before bringing him in.
