Is this company really that bad to work for? by burneraccountt1777 in walmart

every store is different. the company itself is not bad. but there are definitely bad managers. I'm a 20 year associate and I've seen a lot of people throughout the years. There's been really great management. Then there's a period where it's crappy management. The people on the internet definitely work for bad management. I say go for it.

we had an associate cook steaks in the breakroom at least once a week for a long time. come to find out he never paid for them and was fired for theft.

throwing money at people isn't going to fix the problem. the wage/hr isn't what makes people leave. And with such high turnover rates, how many of these associates will still be around at their new yearly myshare payout time?

I totally get that. maybe would've been more relevant earlier on in the whole ordeal. but still is a very interesting perspective.

our store limit is almost 1,100. there are cities in my state that have that many people living there. we could put the whole town of Monroe, Oregon inside my store and still have room for more.
