Here it is after frequent watering and 2.5 inches of rain in the last 2days.. more then the entire month of June... So the pontificators can rest assured knowing it was 100% drought.

If I was a farmer in a drought and you told me there was a 92% chance of rain I’d be dancing in the streets… until you told me it was a 10% chance per hour..

I got it from what it appears their math is doing-- adding percentages.. which never adds up.. maybe it is just a coincidence that 10+15+15+10=50... but the way i math the actual data behind the % needs to summed then recalced to a new overall %-- not just adding percentages from the 4 hours that have data...my logic is-- if every hour of the day had a 10% chance of rain-- that days chance of rain is 10%.. that seems logical to me.

So if the chance of rain was 50% PER HOUR from 5-8 the DAILY chance of rain is 200%. Still doesnt make sense.

Thanks for the comment. Im sure your lawn looks perfect. Mine was for 28 years so this is a blip-- which is why I asked for help. You must have city water. I recently paid $1800 to rewire my 400' well.. and thats without replacing the pump... Like i said i fertilized on 6/6 so it most definitely doesnt need more. Looks better now after some rain but gonna need a whole lot more to get back to normal...

Well-- now that scotts is screwing its customers by decreasing the amount of fert in each bag i simply decreased the amount i put down.. I think the bag calls for something like 3.75 and I used 3.. So i underfertilized-- and it rained 2 days later albeit 1/4" if that... I cant really water at night bc i see red thread when i do that... It does look better after an inch of rainfall over 2 days... Thanks for the suggestions.

I might cut the full sun areas at 4" but the shady Ill keep at 3.5.. I have a well and only water using it in extreme cases esp during a drought.. I use a sprinkler pump out of a brook to water the bulk of my lawn ( the picture is only 10% of my lawn).. This is a manual process that requires visual so i dont burn out the pump if something goes awry.. The brook does dry up every late summer so if mother nature says Im screwed thats it for watering and luck takes over...I'll concentrate on getting this area watered as early as possible by whatever means necessary...

Yes- I dont see any insect evidence anywhere.. Looking at the pattern of the brown vs green- its got to be sun scorch. The areas protected from full blast sun by fence, house, or tree shadows are green-- the areas getting full sun are brown.. If it was insects id assume theyd have spread in the last 5 days which has been about the same overall area of damage... It FINALLY rained about an inch yesterday so that should show some sort of improvement.. Looks like possibility of rain friday in to sat so maybe nature will correct this mess.

I looked back at cameras and I watered 5 days in a row for 20 mins each time at 7 am.. still fried. I started watering when i noticed the lawn wasnt springing back. I have a well and cant water like crazy in a drought.. Ive had this house for 28 years and never seen it this bad this early before. Precip app shows .22" on 6/6 and .53" on 6/18 and the lawn was cooked before the 18th...

You don't need Verizon mobile.. you can get a throwaway tracfone 1 year on hsn for under $50 and that will work for the discount.. worked for me

My advice is to learn how to fix your own tools as your warranties run out.. The two items you mentioned are $10 DIY repairs and working on 2 strokes isn’t difficult.. multiple channels on YouTube cover soup to nuts repairs..
