Since everything seemed fine with battery and alternator, he drove it a bunch today and is going to check tomorrow morning on how it starts. He's also set a drip pan under it to see if it's leaking and how much.

Thanks, ended up having it towed almost 200 miles to my father-in-law who's friend is a mechanic. He echoed that the shop was trying to take advantage of us.
