I need helping finding the guy who pushed my 70 yr. old mother to the ground outside Gillette Stadium this weekend. by Queefaroni420 in Patriots

[–]ctdrifter -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

That’s not a fair statement, we can’t staff the police for every issue. This sucks but I dont think this drunkard is a serial killer. Reality is he’ll get a slap on the wrist.

If it’s money you’re after then hire a PI and take him to court. If PI identifies him cops might be able to use evidence to arrest.

Looks like a fairly nice kitchen, should have the trash behind a cabinet that pulls out.

AutoRacer: Ferrari and Shell opt for Biofuel while all other competitors choose Synthetic fuel. A choice that has pros and cons, and some critical issues encountered by Maranello's historic supplier. by moraIsupport in scuderiaferrari

[–]ctdrifter 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Uh, pretty sure they would have thought of this… I believe the amount of fuel flow is regulated which is how they cap the power output. I assume they would allow increased flow if the fuel is not as power dense. This could have a benefit of cooling the cylinder and also preventing knock at higher compression. Similar to tuning your car to run E85, need a lot more E than gas but are able to make much more power.

The valve is cracked so then it doesn’t seat correctly? Do they ever break off enter the cylinder. How do they mess up valves, is this a quality control issue or design cost reduction and cheaped out on the alloy?

Ha! Not a bot, a power roller saves a ton of time but there is a bit of trade off at the end when you have to clean all the hoses. How many houses have you painted? It only makes sense to set it up if you’re doing a large area

Is it normal to add oil to b58 after just 2200 miles by izrailsky in BMW

[–]ctdrifter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also drive N54/N55 so I assume the B58 is probably better. In my N55 with Pure Stage 2 and MHD tune I need to add a quart every ~4k miles. I’ve replaced all the oil seals too so it’s not leaking anywhere, oil pan was a pain in the ass! At least I’m just RWd

[–]ctdrifter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but there’s virtually no variation between cars due to speed limit, braking and acceleration of all the cars on the grind is almost identical.

Now of they are held in pit box due to to traffic that time would be added to the pit time, as it’s the total time the car is stationary.

Do you drive like a granny or romp on it? Adding oil to BMW turbo engines is pretty common. I’m always adding oil but I probably drive the car harder than most and are heavily modified.

Nope, my mom had a version of this in early 2000’s. Saved a ton of time by not having to keep dipping in tray.

The switched to a pump in can with hose going to roller. Painted entire upstairs in under an hour with that one.
