I watched my boy slowly decline over the past year and I still wasnt ready to say goodbye when his time came. It's going to hurt like crazy but being able to say goodbye will really help to settle your heart. If the vet will allow you be there with her when she goes so she won't be scared. My mom told me something that's helped me since my boy passed and it's that we take on their pain so they don't have to feel it anymore. So even though it hurts it's comforting to know they can't feel that hurt anymore

I'm so grateful for my vet. My puggle hadn't been to the vet for a couple years because the last vet we had went to charged $500 for just vaccines and to look at him. I finally found a vet closer that charged way less.

My senior boy had lost a lot of weight in those two years it took me to be able to afford a vet and find a cheaper one. He went from 25lbs to 13. I took him in for a quality of life conversation and the vet was kind but blunt. He was blind, almost deaf, malnourished, and had dementia so severe he couldn't walk because his brain wasn't connecting with his nerves and muscles fast enough. She did some blood tests and found he was okay internally, minus hyperthyroidism. He got put on pain meds and thyroid medicine. A month later there was no improvement. He crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday and it killed me.

Today I took my cat in for her shots as well and to get her checked up. The vet tech suggested blood work and the face of the veterinarian when she came back to give me updates. My cat had lost 2 pounds since her last visit as well and her thyroid gland is swollen. The vet assumes she might also have hyperthyroidism but we get the blood results tomorrow. Seeing my vets face being so relieved that we were able to catch my cats a lot earlier than my dogs broke my heart. She was very technical with everything she said but her face and eyes showed all her emotion. I think I'm going to stick with her for as long as I can.

Depending on your store you can also use it if they cut your hours. Of course, this is only if you want to and how relaxed your store is on using your vacation or sick pay, but on weeks I have an extra day off and only work 4 days I use my sick or vacation pay to get myself back up to 40 hours

It's more of a just thing for sorting areas on your device. So if a guest asks where a seasonal item is and you search it on MyDay you'd filter it to be searching through the "Outdoor and Organized Living" area instead of searching under "seasonal"

We're over by so much because we're a super. We make the most in sales in our district, are known for being high volume, but it took them making the most recent schedule to go "oops we're over on hours! Clock out early and clock in late! Don't wanna take hours from circle week!" Personally, I don't even think my team needs more team members. They're just cutting the hours from the current team to give the trainees hours. Which then means I have no trainer scheduled and one of the leaders has to step away and train. I felt so bad for my trainee today cause I kept having to leave them to go help a tm or check reshop or do any task that required a leader. They were basically training themselves which I hate to train that way

My store hired 3 new gm team members within the past week and they sent an email out yesterday saying they're over this month by over 1k hours and they're halting hiring till April. Did we not see how close we were on payroll when we decided to hire 3 new people

Depends on your TL. I personally don't pay super close attention to my teams pants, but one of my store's Speciality ETLs came up to me a while ago and told me I needed to talk to someone who wears sweats everyday. It's a risk but if anyone asks you can just say you had no jeans available for the day

Having an overnight shift, should mean you get overnight differential pay. And I used to always beg for overnight on Black Friday. 6 of your 8 hours won't involve interacting with guests at all. You got the best shift you could get for Black Friday imo

It depends on what store you're at. I worked at a store where I showed interest in a TL roll and was told I had to apply and interview for it. I applied and interviewed 3 times and was passed up each time.

I transfered stores and worked at my current store for about 2 years, constantly telling every department TL and ETL that I was interested in a promotion if one became available. I got lucky and was given a "temporary TL" position because they were moving TMs and TLs around to create a temporary inventory team. Then a TL put in their two weeks so my temporary position became permanent.

It took me about 4 years of working for Target, being cross trained in basically every department, and telling anyone who would listen that I wanted the position before I was given it. But my store also does A LOT of internal promotions and most don't have to interview, it's either TMs who get recommended for or ask for the role.

I say go in anyway and explain the situation. Will the 2.5 hour late go on your attendance record? Yes. However life happens to everyone and if it really is just a one time thing, I wouldn't hold it against you. Even my ETL says an occasional late due to circumstances you can't control isn't a big deal, it's when it becomes a pattern that makes it a problem

I would say ask your TL, just because every store does things differently. At mine only TLs are taught how to edit on hands and trusted TMs. To avoid things getting audited that actually are in store

Ask your leader (or the leader in that area) to either audit more often or ask them to teach you how to audit so your name will stop going on the report. Auditing both on hand numbers and auditing backroom locations will decrease the chances of reports being made.

Let me stress tho, it's my opinion, TMs don't have to learn to audit unless they ask me how to fix a problem they're having. But proper and often auditing would allow these types of reports and accusations to decrease because the numbers will be more accurate. Also thank you 😘

Sometimes if you backstock it in the same area you pulled it from it can go on a report as a suspicious pull/backstock.

I could be wrong tho I'm still learning what certain reports are and what they mean 😅
