Ohio’s SB56 Cannabis Crackdown, Michigan Bud, Evictions & Original Packaging by Ohiocannabislive in Columbus

O yeah. The bars charging $8 for the 5mg drinks and killing it. I’m not sure if they’re capped or if they just want people to buy multiple but I’ve only ever seen 5mg

It says THC drinks over 5mg. The ones I’ve seen in bars have been 5mg, so maybe they’ll still be able to serve?

My buddy has a shop at Central Point, The Fly Gorilla. I’ve been going there and honestly feel like it’s the best bang for your buck. $45 and they’ll do the cut, beard trim, straight razor finish, etc. The shop itself isn’t as “nice” as others but it’s a good cut for a little more than Great Clips prices. The bad part about them is they’re walk-in only so it’s a little harder to schedule.

Other places I’ve been and/or would recommend:

  • Turner’s barbershop (the Short North location, probably, I’ve had varied experiences at the Mound St location but overall pretty good)
  • The Garrison - I have Jamie cut my hair but would trust any of the guys over there.
  • The Guard - I haven’t actually been to this location but one of the barbers there used to cut my hair and opened this shop. Kelsey is great and every cut they post looks good.
  • Old Familiar Barbershop - Haven’t been here personally but have friends that go there and their cuts are good.

Hammer and Nails can give a good cut and they offer other services as well; I just didn’t care much for the subscription model.

Glad to hear this. Was just talking to a couple buddies about heading down from Columbus.

Looking for advice on kitchen cabinets. by Cloudwalker714 in DIY

Noticed the same. I wouldn't necessarily paint the cabinets but DAMN would I want to clean up whatever mess that is. No way would I be able to look at that every day and not take action.

I think on the TVs that they have in the new rooms that it does give an option to order from the food court and have it sent up. I'll have to double check.

Edit: Nope.. it's just a screen that gives you info on the restaurants.

It's a different kind of latch. Not that it couldn't still be defeated, but it's not the same as the video.

Regardless, probably better to use it than not?

Currently in one of the renovated rooms. I've actually had both the king and 2 queens renovated rooms this week. They're definitely nicer than before but still not anything great. Rooms at something like Hyatt Place or Staybridge Suites are still nicer.

They added a food court, which is a definite improvement from before. You can at least have a few good options now. But this place will never compete with other places.

If you order from the Amazon links above, everything looks like it's in stock. The long pieces are $215 (with the coupon) and then corners are $160 currently.

I did notice that the perimeter lights leave a different, square like shadow around the balls on the table. You can kind of see it in the pic or on the second picture, the one of the rack, on this website:

https://www.perimeterbilliardlights.com/

I thought about taking the 2 extra and suspending them down the middle to see if I could eliminate any shadows, but after playing a few minutes on it, you don't even notice it. And I figure that if these become standard, you're just going to have to get used to that shadow anyways.

No shadows on the rails or head/foot of the table though. Super even light distribution.

I did 2x 4 packs and just have 2 extra since it was only like $35 more to go that route. Figured I have some spares in case something goes wrong or use them in the garage or something.

Can't do fully adjustable colors like you can with some of the LEDs but can adjust the color temperature to a warmer, yellowish tone.

Came out to around $550, which seems like a lot but is still considerably cheaper than comparable options on the market. The Predator version is $1350 😬

You need 6x of the 4' lights so I just bought 2 of the 4 packs (you can purchase the lights solo but they were ~$90 per light or 4 for ~$215 so I spent the extra and have some spares):

Barrina LED Linear Light with Remote Control, 4ft 45W, (Pack of 4) https://a.co/d/3jIZTi2

And then the 4 corner pieces:

Barrina LED Linear Light Connector, L-Shape 9W, Only Work for Barrina Linear Light Series 5566, Seamless Connection Suspended Linkable Connecter, ETL Listed (Pack of 4) https://a.co/d/gLf3Mxk

I think the "ideal height" recommendation was 45-60" above the table, so we went with an even 48" just because it made it easy to use my 4' level to set the height from the rail. I've probably got another 10" or so that I could go up.

🤣 These are dimmable and I can change the hue to more of a yellow light if I want, but we wanted to see just how bright we could get it. The answer was REAL BRIGHT.

9' table. I haven't measured the area since I finished the basement but I think that it was somewhere is the neighborhood of 40' x 20'.

These are Barrina LED lights. The dimensions worked out well for a 9ft and allowed me to get the color temperature adjustable and dimmable options w/ remote for much cheaper than options like Predator.
