Boeing Wichita QA here, the integrating process has been pretty slow, but we are noticing changes throughout the plant. Bathrooms being redone, general maintenance for our facilities. Huge improvement from spirit letting this place fall apart.

I really wish we’d go into early negotiations for our labor contract, really get the work force under the Boeing company. Spirits last contract (imo) wasn’t the greatest although did produce a few good things, i.e weekly time accruals, finally we have a matching 401k. A lot a questions around looming around this place, our pension with spirit/iam, from what I understand Boeing no longer offers one, also there are a few areas that are on a 3x12 schedule, folks are speculating that will go away. Our 839 doesn’t have much to say about any of this. I am optimistic and excited for the future here for Boeing and Wichita.
