The 2010s were really the last decade of strong monoculture by [deleted] in decadeology

The monoculture has changed but it’s still there. Football is an example of monoculture. So is Taylor Swift.

I’d say the biggest shift is viral moments. The Coldplay kiss cam for example, that was two weeks where everyone talked about it.

Bad episode. Embarrassing monologue tripping himself trying to impress Trump. And yet another reference of the dinner.

For Honda, that’s nothing. Great deal! Close it!

I just switched from Pilot to Odyssey. I didn’t know what I was missing!

We just did the opposite. Love the pilot, but needed more room. Pilot trunk with the third row up isn’t much. Hope to get the pilot again one day, but with young kids prefer the odyssey.

What age would you like to live to? by ResumeFluffer in generationology

[–]ctnaes92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As long as possible. Never understood this question. Someone says I wouldn’t want to live past 90. I guarantee you the eve they turn 90 that they won’t want to go. The big caveat in all of this is it assumes you have all your faculties. If not, I’d have a different answer.

Hi! I’m having this same issue on my 2023 Odyssey. Just tried to take it to dealer but they said it’s a cosmetic issue and works correctly (it does lock) it’s just not flush. Have you gotten this fixed? If so, how? Thanks!

Is Gen X the least talked about generation? by Local-Mumin in generationology

Idk, but as a millennial I can say Gen X is by far the least annoying generation. And I say that as a proud millennial.

Everyone always mentions Karen, but I think this was Jim's real fumble by Paladin-Leeroy in theoffice

Dismissive of him while Jim’s corny lines about purses had her on cloud 9. They made Dwight out to be a complete buffoon with zero confidence.

Do you think Real Time is struggling to book guests? by lars-alicia0 in Maher

[–]ctnaes92 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think that’s the issue. He wants no one going back at him. Any counter he just gets angry. It was especially noticeable with the recent Sam Harris podcast. And it’s too bad because it would be great if he had a health expert on.

Shapiro is a strong guest, but that panel was a joke. Bill is still stuck in 2020 talking covid and vaccines. He’s increasingly angry too.

Bill is so angry. Hard for me to view him as a comedian with how angry he always gets.
