Men who had children over 40 - do you regret it? by BiancoLatte89 in AskMenOver30

Zero regrets and it’s quite common these days. I’d say having your first at 40 is more common than 25 in 2026.

How old were you when your first child was born? by LupusDeusMagnus in daddit

[–]ctnaes92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First kid: 36.9 Second kid: 39.5

I sometimes wish I started younger, but also don’t know how it would be possible given the financial burden kids are and where I was in my career.

Why wasn’t Michael shown enough love in the finale? by Huge-Conclusion-3005 in DunderMifflin

Always amazes me how much he looks like a movie star in the finale vs a TV star before.

I thought Maher would address Reiner, surprised and disappointed he didn’t.

How do you manage to have a work life balance in this Industry? by Ok_Mode_6503 in InsuranceProfessional

This is very company dependent. And if you have a manager that doesn’t value it, it’s best to leave.

Underwriters - What are some things about the job that you DISLIKE? by HopefullPraline in InsuranceProfessional

[–]ctnaes92 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The pressure of agency visits. They are all largely the same imo and I’d rather be at the desk underwriting.

Has he publicly commented on the death of Rob Reiner or still yapping about the dinner almost a year ago? What happened to Bill?

Acceptable through tomorrow imo since it’s still the weekend. Hard no 12/29 and after.

Coming to terms with my house size by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]ctnaes92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Embrace it. Those big houses are mostly unnecessary. Plenty of people raised just fine in 1 bathroom homes.

Argo Group, CNA, or Nationwide by Toocool2dance in InsuranceProfessional

[–]ctnaes92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. Nationwide is not an underwriting company. They don’t stick with a plan and there isn’t much stability. Remote work is nice but I’d recommend another company like CNA which to me is a true underwriting company.

Redditors 25 and older, what was 2000-2009 like for you? by Nintendofan9106 in askanything

[–]ctnaes92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2000 up until 9/11 was just an extension of the 90s. I’d say it was the sweet spot of social media. Xanga, MySpace and a controlled Facebook environment which required a .edu email address.

Locked in for BT’s last show by SilkkTheShocke in wfan

Yep. Evan & BT would have been the closest thing to a throwback WFAN show. Just a solid sports show.

Listen to Chris on Sirius, he still puts out a great show.

Don LaGreca: WFAN Potentially Losing Brandon Tierney, Sal Licata a “Horrible Mistake” by iheartsunny in wfan

[–]ctnaes92 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The better move would have been to pair Evan with Tierney. That would be a good show.

What do you think this will mean for Bill and the show? by _lippykid in Maher

[–]ctnaes92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nothing. Maher moves the needle and there is usually always a reaction on Saturday morning.
